I started pole dancing a year ago and I think it's fair to say that I’m addicted! I started pole dancing as a fun way to exercise but never imagined that I would enjoy it as much as I do. The classes are well structured and great fun. Each week there's always something new to learn and a sense of achievement is felt as you master a tricky move!
I feel that pole dancing has improved my strength dramatically especially in my upper body and stomach and I would recommend it to everyone!

I've been coming to Pole and Shape for 3 weeks now and I absolutely love it! It's so much fun that you don't even realise you're working out! I ached like mad after the first lesson (no pain, no gain) but that was expected and now I don't at all. I already feel like my tummy and arms are getting more toned. I could go upside down by my second lesson and just need to learn how to come down gracefully!
Overall pole and shape is fantastic and Kate is a great teacher!! Xx

I began pole fitness in January of this year (2011) to build up my upper body strength, but also to try and get myself fitter than I was. At first I thought it was just one of those phases that I was going through, but I have stuck at it! I’ve found it’s the best form of exercise for me so far.
I’m not the lightest of people or the most confident, and when I first started going I could barely get myself on the pole, now I’m trying to go upside down (I never thought I would see the day), I am now starting to be able to do some one-handed spins. I can also say it has built up my self confidence dramatically!!
My main goal...to continue enjoying the lessons as much as I do, and to hopefully one day be as good as Kate. You are a great teacher, and you’ll never get rid me LOL

I worked muscles I never knew existed! I have been a class instructor for years and have never done a workout like it. My arms felt more toned after just one session!
